Institutional Agreements & Digital Signature Center
A clear pathway from an institutional conversation to a mutually approved agreement.
Explore OBIS’s procedures for confidentiality and institutional collaboration. Submit a request and, after mutual approval, complete electronic signing through a private PandaDoc invitation.
NDA → MoU → specific agreement is an indicative pathway. The sequence and terms are adapted to each relationship.

Review the complete document before signing.
Complete the signature and date fields assigned to you.
After completion, the final document and certificate are retained with the agreement.
Signing takes place through the private invitation, not on this public page. Public investor access codes do not authorize an agreement or a signature.

Legal framework & electronic signatures
These sources explain the recognition of electronic signatures and their conditions of use under New York and U.S. federal law.
NEW YORK · ESRA
Electronic Signatures and Records Act
Section 304 gives electronic signatures the same validity and effect as handwritten signatures, unless otherwise provided by law. Statutory exceptions apply; applicability depends on the document and context.
Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act
15 U.S.C. § 7001 provides that a signature or contract in a covered transaction cannot be denied legal effect solely because it is electronic. Other legal obligations remain, with consent and retention requirements where applicable.
Referencing these laws does not certify compliance, imply government approval of OBIS, or guarantee the validity of every agreement. Each instrument requires review of its terms, signatories’ authority and applicable law, including relevant mandatory rules in international relationships.
The initial request authorizes contact about the proposal; it does not sign an NDA or MoU. PandaDoc facilitates signing and its record, but does not replace legal review of the agreement.

FAQ
Before you begin
Does submitting the form create an agreement?
No. Every instrument requires review, agreed text and authorization by the appropriate representatives.
May I send confidential technical information?
Please use only a non-confidential summary at this stage. Information exchange is defined separately under the appropriate protections.
Can I download or sign a template here?
The public pages explain the instruments. Drafts are prepared and shared privately for review; signature invitations follow approval of the final text.
Does a MoU commit funding or research resources?
The proposed MoU is an exploratory, non-binding framework. Funding, research, exclusivity or licensing commitments require a separate definitive agreement.
Where will my request go?
